Mrs. Greene's class enjoyed some recess time outside with a sweet treat! The perfect break on a hot day!

Ms. Mitchell's class has been learning about fact fluency in class! The students have been focused on improving their fact fluency in class using Reflex! Each day they achieve their fact fluency goal by getting a green light in Reflex! Keep up the amazing work Ms. Mitchell's class.

Mrs. Howle's class has been learning about sounds and vibrations. Students completed different stations to learn about sound energy. They used a guitar, xylophone, tuning fork, and cup phones. Each station they had to explain what they heard and what they saw to grow their understanding of sound and vibration.

Students in Mrs. Graves' class are Context Clues Detectives! They have been working together looking for clues to help find the meaning of unknown words and building their reading skills. They were even able to create their own made-up word for other students to guess the meaning using the clues in their paragraph.

Students In Mrs. Morris’s class made instruments for science. They have been studying sound. They made a beautiful sound of their own!

Mrs. Brose's class has had fun learning about the continents and oceans! We have learned about the differences in each continent in our map features booklet and we color coded and labeled a map of the world. Students especially enjoyed playing the continents and oceans review game with their iPads.

Mrs. Calderone’s friends have enjoyed practicing short vowel sounds.  They used letter tiles, sand writing, and finished off with a fun SCOOT activity.  Learning is so much fun!

🫧 Learning is loads of fun in Mrs. Herdinar and Mrs. Tolles’ K5 class! 🧺 During their “Suds of Fun” Learning Lab, students are strengthening fine motor skills through hands-on activities like folding clothes, snapping buttons, zipping zippers, and using clothespins. They have also been practicing letter sounds, identifying numbers, forming letters and numerals correctly, and learning about summertime. What a fun way for our K5 students to learn, play, and grow! 🐼💕

Mrs. White’s students participate in Fluency Friday! We enjoy playing different activities and games to practice our fast facts.

Yesterday, 2nd & 3rd grades had their Goodies for Grands.

Mrs. West had an excellent time serving the students as their barista and reviewing adding and subtracting decimals during Starbucks Day! Learning is so much fun in 5th grade!
