Congratulations to this week's Chick-fil-A of Boiling Springs D2 Fine Arts Student of the Week Princlyn Wilkie from Sugar Ridge Elementary School. #2sGotTalent

"Princlyn is an inspiring young artist who demonstrates creativity, imagination, and a thoughtful approach to making art. She expresses herself through her artwork and uses it to tell a story. Princlyn adds her own ideas and details to give her artwork personality and meaning. She has shown that even at a young age, she understands that artists can use their imagination to communicate ideas and tell stories through their work. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to persist through artistic challenges make her a wonderful young artist to celebrate."

Community Information Meetings

Attendance Counts! Keep these dates handy as you plan trips and appointments.

Mrs. Buxton’s class had a great time tasting apples! We sampled red, yellow, and green apples and talked about how each one looked, smelled, felt, and tasted. Although the apples were delicious all by themselves, most of our students agreed that they tasted even better with yummy toppings! We enjoyed trying apples with peanut butter, caramel, nuts, and sprinkles.

Mrs. Belue’s class has been working hard on building their math fluency skills!

Thank you coaches for all that you do to support our pandas at SRE! ❤️📚

Mrs. Lerch and Mrs. Adkins’ young scientists had a blast making apple volcanoes, taste-testing different kinds of apples and yummy toppings, investigating whether their apples would sink or float, and weighing their apples to compare sizes and make predictions. It was a day filled with smiles, curiosity, and exciting discoveries❤️🍎

SRE Panda artists have the time to shine in our District Office for the month of October! Ms. Gressette’s and Ms. Stephen’s art classes have been working hard perfecting their artworks for presentation. Each of these projects shows their study in shape and color with oil pastel and chalk pastel. We are proud to show off our creative artists in D2!

Our Sugar Ridge Elementary School Pandas had some very special visitors this morning!

"I want our girls to grow into young women who understand the importance of serving others, showing respect, and building up those around them," said Boiling Springs High School Cheer Coach Kenzie Crowe.

Coach Crowe's Cheerleaders spent the morning opening car doors and greeting students with a smile to start off a very Happy Friday. #D2isFamily

"These small acts of kindness help develop character, strengthen leadership skills, and remind our athletes that the way we treat people matters just as much as how we perform," Crowe said.

"We are proud to represent BSHS and want our girls to leave a positive impression wherever they go. If we can make another person feel welcomed encouraged or excited to be here then we have already made a difference. That is the kind of leadership and character we want to build in our Bulldog Cheerleaders!" #D2DifferenceMakers
